We spent
the morning at the Victoria and Albert Museum. There was so much to see there,
we could have spent several days!
We took the
Tube to Blackfriar's, where we had lunch at the Blackfriar's Pub. We ate there
the last time we were in London, and it was well worth the return trip.
We walked
down the Thames and across the Millennium Bridge (the wobbly-wobbly bridge). We
took pictures as we went. You can see the Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern get
closer as we cross the bridge.
We went to
the Tate Modern and rode one of the slides.
And then
attended the Frost Fair, which included a tour of the recreated Globe. They had
music, clothing demonstrations, some fighting.
We also
walked down and around the corner to the original site of the Rose Theater.
We walked
back up the river to see the official opening of the Frost Fair. They had a
lantern parade with the lanterns representing the twelve days of Christmas.
We decided
to walk back across the bridge and take the tube from St. Paul's.
We finished
packing and prepared to leave very early the next morning.
Flew from
London to New York, and then from New York to Columbus.
